Mlm Sponsoring Tips

Here are some Mlm sponsoring tips that if you implement, will greatly increase your sponsoring rate.

I'm sure you've heard it a thousand times, but in order to find out what your prospects need, it is imperative to ask questions.  I understand how seductive it is to tell your prospect all the wonderful things about your product or service and if they only understood that, they would immediately purchase or sign up with you.  However, this is salesman thinking, not prospect thinking.

Here is an interesting, structured approach for the right way to speak to a prospect:
Ask
Tell
Ask 
Why

Ask your prospect what they want, tell them what you just heard them say, ask what solutions they want or have tried, ask why this is important to them.  You can ask why several more times until you have a good handle on exactly what your prospect needs.

Once you have this information, you can provide them with YOUR SOLUTION!

How to Build Your Downline

How to build your downline is really the fundamental part of your network marketing business.  Without a team that is prepared to work and build, your business will not grow.

Many people come to me and ask me, 'how do you do it?  How can I get people interested in working and being consistent with their business?"  The answer, you can't.  Don't try.  You are not responsible for creating anybody's life.  Your main goal is to find their need and then provide the solution.  After that, if they are not willing to call you, go to trainings or meetings, etc. your job with them is done.  Keep them up to date with the company goings on, but you cannot waste time on trying to make it work for them.  Sounds harsh, but it's true.  You can only work with those people who are worthy of your time.  They are the ones who call you all the time...bug you for information..ask tons of questions.  You want to spend all your time with them.

So, then if the question is, how to build your downline fast, then you need to find people who are interested in what you have to offer.

Finding leads is the most difficult part of network marketing for many.  For others, it's very easy.  Finding targeted leads is how you want to concentrate most of your efforts. If you're in the health and wellness business, you want to find people who are interested in health. Once you find these people, you need to have a way to gather their contact information so you can start making phone calls.

  1. If you are finding leads offline, a great way to find targeted leads is meetup.com.  This is a great way to find people who have your interests.  You can meet with them at their events, or you can start your own meetup and hold your own meetings. 
  2. Finding leads online is another great way to find fast leads.  Facebook is a wonderful way to find different groups of people and target them for your business or products.  Facebook training is plentiful on the internet and YouTube.
  3. How to build your downline fast through blogs is another great way to get targeted people who are going to your site through the information you provide.

Better Networker!

How can you be a better networker?

A better networker listens more and asks more questions to find out more about their prospects.  When you attend network meetings, always speak with people who you don't know.  Many people make the mistake of gravitating to people they are familiar with or know and miss out on meeting new people who may be either interested in their business or who can refer to you.

A better networker will take business cards that they have received from people and put them immediately into their contact manager and then follow up within a week.

A better networker is organized!  

I can't stress this enough.  When you are in a business where you have to deal with many people, it is critical that you have the appropriate measures to put in place to deal with the numbers.  Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, a calendar are all critical to your business.  If you will not or cannot be organized, your results will not be successful.  I have had many members of my downline who just could not get organized and their business suffered.  Some people think they can remember names and dates and it's just not going to work, take it from me.

A better networker attends trainings!

If you don't take the time and spend a little money to invest in yourself, then you will not be successful.  You can spend money on things for your business, but if you don't know how to deal with different personality types, or know how to effectively close a sale or speak to prospects, then anything else you do in and for your business is just a waste of time.  Again, I have had people in my downline who have spent money on software programs, products to help with selling, banners, advertising brochures, but then would not do anything and did not know how to do anything with them.

Fast Recruiting!

How would you like to recruit fast?  Fast recruiting is easy once you know how to do it!

The first step is to locate targeted leads.  You can find free targeted leads online and offline. 
Some examples of offline leads are going to events like tradeshows or networking events where there are people looking for what you are offering.  Spend at least twice a month attending these kinds of events and store the leads in a contact manager on your phone or Ipad.  The phone book is another great resource where you can find exactly who you are looking for!

Some examples of online leads are groups and fan pages on Facebook.  Just type in the search box for the type of prospect you're looking for.  If you're looking for network marketing leads, type in network marketing or look up specific network marketing companies.  With Twitter, find people to follow who have the interest you are looking for.  Then start conversations with these people.  Inbox them on Facebook and say hello.  Tweet with your followers on Twitter.

Fast recruiting involves gathering a list of people from online and offline prospecting and then calling them.

How to Close a Sale

Closing a sale is one of the most important steps in a network marketing business and one of the most neglected and feared of the sales process, but learning how to close a sale will catapult your profits.

  • Don't use aggressive sales tactics.  Your prospects and customers will resent you and buyers remorse is not something you want for your business.  It also makes you appear desperate and it intimidates your buyer/prospect.
 So what do you do?  You ask questions and then you shut up.  Simple.  Ask them about what they need and why they need it.  When they answer your questions, ask 'why is that important to you?'
Soon, you will have all the information you need to direct your prospect to your product or service.


For example this is how to close a sale when you are meeting with someone interested in your business opportunity.  

You:  Hi John, thanks for meeting with me.  So how can I help you?
John: I thought you were going to tell me about your business opportunity.
You:  Yes, why are you looking for a business opportunity?
John:  I'm looking to make extra income.
You: Why?
John:  Because I'm worried about losing my job, planning for retirement, children going to college (whatever they say)
You:  Why is that important to you?


As you can see, if you keep asking why, John will keep talking.  People like talking about themselves.  Once you get to the core of what and why they are meeting with you, for instance in the example above, you may find out that John is worried about college expenses for his kids and knows that the way things are going now with the economy, he has to find another way to make money otherwise college is not going to happen.


Now you have a solution.  Your business opportunity.  (this scenario can go for selling a product, a service or anything).  John has just told you all his fears and needs.  All you have to do now is tell him a little bit about your solution for him and then close them.  

How to close a sale?  ASK for the sale.  "how do you want to pay for that?"  " let's get your information so I can start your training right away so you can start making money for your kids college"   This is the step that people are afraid to do.  Your prospect just told you what he needs, you have a solution, now offer it to them and close it up.

Simple, right?

Network Marketing Today

It seems like just a few short years ago that network marketing or mlm's had an extremely bad reputation for being 'scam's' or 'pyramid schemes'.  Network marketing today is now a well-respected industry with well-known celebrities, CEO's and athletes all endorsing the industry and in many instances, are distributors themselves.

Blogging can be a huge money-making marketing strategy for your business, but if you don't know how to rank on the search engines then your blog will not be seen.

Here are some seo blog tips that can help start you on your way to a solid foundation of understanding seo.

All blogs should contain keywords.  Keyword research is an extremely important part of writing blogs that are optimized.  Considerable time should be given to this first and very important step.  Jaaxy is a tool that is inexpensive, yet so helpful in pinning down the best keywords or phrases for your blog. 

If you cannot target the appropriate people to your blog, then anything else you do is a waste of time and energy. So make sure this is followed.

1) Now that you've researched your keyword or phrases, you need to put that keyword in your title and the body of your blog.  Don't go overboard and don't make it obvious what your keywords are.

2) Make sure your keywords are not high competition words.  It will be much harder to increase traffic when you are competing with so many other content sources.

4) Write on your blog at least 3 to 4 times a week to establish yourself as an expert and increase visibility.
